Hey everyone!


Just a quick heads up that we have made some changes to the structure of the Discord server!

Seeing as this is now a general gaming/hangout community rather than focusing on PokeMMO, some of the sections have been moved/removed into others to make things a bit easier to navigate and digest.

We now have forums for each game that we play and discuss, feel free to use the tags to help weed stuff out.

Also its time for new features!

We now have temporary voice channels, under our voice channels section, if you join "Create Temp Channel" you will get your own voice channel that will automatically disappear when you are done with it.

If you have any issues, let the mods know!

Also, this is also a test post for a new link between the forums (why haven't you joined yet?!) and Discord.  Going forward (if this works!) if we post an announcement on here, it will also put something in the #announcements channel.

This forum is also due to have a bit of a clean up too, so stay tuned!

Thought I would write a quick guide on how to connect to the community Vanilla MC server.

This is just how I do things, you don't have to follow exactly what I do if you already have Minecraft set up/installed!

Step 1: Install Prism

I like to use Prism, as I run Minecraft on both Windows and Linux, and Prism gives me the easiest path to play both Vanilla and Modded servers.

Go to https://prismlauncher.org/ and download the latest release for your operating system.

Install it, and login to your Microsoft account, this is to check that you actually own the game.

Step 2: Install Minecraft Client

Now that we have got the Prism software installed, it should look like this:


We now need to click on Add Instance which should bring up the following screen:


The community server is running on 26.1.2, so make sure to select that.  
You can give it a custom name if you fancy by filling in the name field.

Once you are happy, click on OK and then Prism will then download the Minecraft game files.

Once installed, it will take you back to the main screen:


Double click on the instance you just created and it should load the game.

Step 3: Adding the Server

You should then load into Minecraft.


Click on Multiplayer.  You should get the following screen appear:


Click on Add Server and add in the following details:


Server Name: MissingNo Club Community (Optional: This can really be whatever you want!)

Server Address: mc.stockerservers.net (Mandatory: You have to put this exactly as I've written it!)

Click on Done, and then double click on the server that has now appeared.

Congrats, you're in!!

Hey everyone,

I know that there has been a lot of hubbub going on about Discord (ID checks etc, links to data grabbing companies etc).

If Discord was ever to become a no-go place to be anymore, we wouldnt like to lose contact with everyone, so thats why we have also spun up a community on Fluxer (https://www.fluxer.app) which aspires to be what Discord isn't.

I won't go on too much about why I picked Fluxer to host the alternative place to hang, but it has some good things going about it!

How to Unlock Roaming Legendary Birds in Kanto (Confirmed by Staff)

Hey Trainers,

There’s been a lot of confusion lately about how to unlock the roaming legendary birds in Kanto—Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Some forum posts mention needing to complete the Sevii Islands quest chain, while others say it’s just about the badges. I reached out directly to PokeMMO staff for clarification, and here’s the official answer from Hyper:

Quote:You unlock the ability to encounter the roaming legends when you beat the 8th gym (Kanto) or when you beat the Ho-oh boss fight (Johto).

✅ Requirements Recap:

• Kanto Region: Defeat the 8th Gym Leader (Viridian Gym).
  
• Johto Region (alternative unlock): Defeat the Ho-oh boss fight.
  

Once you’ve completed either of these, roaming legendary encounters will be enabled for your character. No Sevii Islands quest chain is required for this unlock.

 Tips for Tracking/Catching:

• Roaming legends appear randomly in tall grass across the region. If you can fly from the area they will appear there! Suicune is only beast that can be found on Water. All birds can be found on Water.
  
• Use a Swarm/Illuminate ability mon as lead and high-level False Swipers such as Breloom with the Posion Heal Ability while holding a Toxic Orb. Ideal Moveset is False Swipe/Spore/Substitute/Mach Punch.  
  
• Timer Balls are ideal for catching - Wait till Turn 10 for max catch rate.

Perfect utility mon for Swarm

Hey everyone,

I have started hosting a community Cobblemon Minecraft server that will be open for all Team Members and verified users.

There will be a whitelist enabled on the server, so to get access, please contact me on here via PM, leave a comment on the thread or send a message on Discord.

What is Cobblemon?
For those that don't know, Cobblemon is the implementation of Pokemon mechanics inside Minecraft.  Capturing and battling, all that sort of stuff.  Its really cool!

Do I need to install anything?
Yes, you will need to install a modded version of the Minecraft client to run it.  But don't worry, for those new to this, I will be writing some guides showing you how easy it is to do.  I might even script it for you if I can be bothered

I am currently in a testing phase, but if anyone wants to help out the testing, please let me know, and I'll give you the details.
